This three-day, hands-on course teaches students to perform basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the Final Cut Pro user interface. In this course, you will cut a scene from the TNT television series Leverage, create a promo for Seaworld's Believe documentary, as well as master filters and effects as you edit a segment of Playing for Change, the international music-creation event.
The course is taught by an Apple Certified Trainer who is also a leading professional film maker.
The Final Cut Express interface and basic features are the same as that for Final Cut Pro and so this course is also suitable for those who might need to use Final Cut Express in place of the Pro version.
Full details of the course content is available on the Apple Training website (PDF download).
This course covers the syllabus for the associated exam. The exam pass mark is 80% and we find that most students benefit from further experience in using the software before taking it. When you feel ready, you can take the exam through this Training Centre; contact us to arrange a date. An additional exam fee applies.
