In just one week you can learn the skills to present your research or department activities
as a short video.
We show you how to use a camera, structure the film and edit the video and audio.
It's easier than you think!
These workshops are run by the Oxford Academy of Documentary Film and give you
a practical understanding of digital filmmaking.
They are taught by expert tutors who have made films professionally and for research purposes.
There is a strong emphasis on hands-on film production techniques.
By the end of the workshop you will have learned the basic skills to make a short film:
- for research purposes
- as an AV addendum for a thesis or publication
- to publicise your department, facculty or college
- for screening at a film festival
- for internet distribution
- for educational use
The workshops are run by filmmakers with an international reputation in their respective areas, and during the course
