Computer Hardware Breakdown Service: Service Description 2011-2012
1. Introduction
A hardware breakdown service for PCs and Apple Macintosh computers and their peripherals, including printers, is provided by the University Computing Services. It is available to University Institutions, Colleges and University members (staff and students) on a personal basis for their privately owned equipment. This document relates to the contract year 2011-2012, running from 1st December 2010 to 30th November 2011. Compared to the previous year, there has been an increase in the specifications for equipment covered by the standard price. These, along with other changes to the service description, are identified in this document by Italic text.
