These instructions relate to Outlook Web Access, Full version (for users of Internet Explorer). Unfortunately full headers are not available from Outlook Web Access Light (for users of all other browsers). If you have easy access to Internet Explorer or a standalone mail client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, please use that to provide us with full headers. If not then any details you can provide will be much appreciated.

  1. Start Outlook Web Access, locate the suspected hoax message and open it by double-clicking on it.
  2. Locate the Message Details icon on the 'Ribbon' bar at the top of the message and click on it.

  3. The Message Details box opens and you will find the header under the Internet Mail Headers

  4. Copy the text in the box (press <CTRL A> followed by <CTRL C>) and paste it into an email which you send to phishing@it.ox.ac.uk.
