2. Downloading the TSM Software for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9

Please click on the link below to begin downloading the TSM client, then follow the instructions below.

Restoring non-Mac data? If you are installing TSM because you need to restore data backed up from a Windows or Linux machine, please note that this is not possible with TSM for Mac - you need to restore your data to the same type of system as the one that you used to back it up. Please see further our FAQ item How do I perform a restore?.

Upgrading? If you already have TSM installed and want to upgrade or reinstall it, then please follow the instructions below. There is no need to remove the existing TSM version that you already have before upgrading.

  1. Choose the appropriate option below to download the installation package. You need to be connected to the university network directly or via VPN to download, install and use TSM.

    To download, Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks users can simply click on the link, Snow Leopard users will need to ctrl-click or right-click on the link and choose [Download Linked File As...]

    For 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and 10.9 (Mavericks) download our latest TSM 7.1 package.

    For OS X 10.7 (Lion) download our latest TSM 6.4 package.

    For OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) download our latest TSM 6.3 package.

  2. You may be warned that the download contains an application - if so, click the Continue button.

  3. The file will now be saved and you are ready to begin the TSM client software installation.
