Restoring non-Mac data? If you are installing TSM because you need to restore data backed up from a Windows or Linux machine, please note that this is not possible with TSM for Mac - you need to restore your data to the same type of system as the one that you used to back it up. Please see further our FAQ item How do I perform a restore?.
Upgrading? If you already have TSM installed and want to upgrade or reinstall it, then please follow the instructions below. There is no need to remove the existing TSM version that you already have before upgrading.
Installing on OS X 10.9 (Mavericks)? Please note that this version is not officially supported by IBM. IT Services will provide best efforts support for TSM on OS X 10.9 but have no recourse to official IBM support.
Choose the appropriate option below to download the installation package. You need to be connected to the university network to download, install and use TSM: running VPN software will suffice if you have registered for VPN-based backup; otherwise a direct connection to the university network is required.
