An initial consultation is free to most members of the University. Other services are charged at a set rate. The rates are currently a non-FEC rate of £250 per day for projects internally funded in the University (e.g. Departmental Budgets, John Fell Fund, etc.), and the full economic cost rate of £450 for externally-funded projects (e.g. AHRC, Leverhulme, Mellon, ESRC, etc.). Precise costs will depend on the particular circumstances of the project and the nature or length of the work.

Where appropriate we also undertake work for clients external to the University (e.g. colleges, other Universities, individuals); such work is charged at £450 + VAT per day.

InfoDev is very happy to partner with academic research projects on funding bids, whether in providing guaranteed staff time, consultation, or undertaking specific work-packages. We are willing to provide help and assistance in writing technical appendices to such funding bids.
