1.2. Email me when booking opens
Use this feature to be notified when a scheduled course opens for booking. You will receive an email on the day a course opens for booking. This is normally 30 days in advance of the course start date.
“Email me when booking opens” is available on the course booking page for each course (found via the “A-Z of titles” or “Details by date”) within the “What’s On” section. You will need an Oxford Username to use this feature.
If you want to be notified about more than one date for a course you will need to sign up for each date.
The email is just to notify you that booking for this course is now open. You will need to book yourself a place on the course using the online booking system. By sending you the email notification we are not reserving a course place for you, or guaranteeing that a place will be available.
1.3. Express an interest
Use the “Express an interest” feature to let us know you are interested in a course that is not currently scheduled.
“Express an interest” is available in the “Course Catalogue” next to each applicable course. You will need an Oxford Username to use this feature.
We will notify you by email when the course that you are interested in is scheduled. Please note that courses that are marked as “subject to demand” or “currently unavailable” may not be viable to run and so you may not receive an email notification.
The email you receive is just to notify you that this course is now scheduled. You will need to book yourself a place on the course using the online booking system. By sending you the email notification we are not reserving a course place for you, or guaranteeing that a place will be available.
Note: if a course is scheduled but not open for booking you would need to use the “Email me when booking opens” feature to be notified when this course is open for booking.
We will use this information to help us with future planning so we may contact you to check that you are still interested in a particular course.
1.4. Courses mailing list
You can sign up to the ITLP mailing list to get regular announcements about forthcoming ITLP courses and events.
1.5. Managing your notifications
You can check the courses that you’ve asked to be notified about in My Account and delete courses that you are no longer interested in. You can subscribe and unsubscribe to the mailing list here.
Notifications are a self-service feature. Currently the courses team cannot add or remove notifications for you.
