One Day Conference

Aim of the Conference:

There are a number of people who are concerned about the content on web
pages being accessible only to those who have the 'right' browser or
'right' computer, and realise that most content on the web is not accessible
to people who have alternative devices, especially people who are dependent
upon alternative devices because they have a disability.

We want to ensure that we put content on the web in ways that will make it
accessible to everyone, everywhere.  We will highlight different methods of
access, how the law will be affecting developers in the future, and what we
can do NOW to ensure we are working towards full accessibility of web
content.

The conference will be of interest to senior managers and those responsible
for:

Fees
The cost of the conference including refreshments, lunch and a delegate pack
is £95.00 + VAT (£111.63)

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms
On completion of the booking form, payment may be made by cheque,
credit/debit card or direct credit transfer.  Receipts will be issued within
twenty eight days after the conference.

Substitution and Cancellation
If delegates are unable to attend, they may make a substitution at any time.
If it is not possible to notify the substitution prior to the conference,
this should be done immediately on arrival at the conference.   If
necessary, the booking may be cancelled up to fourteen days before the
conference, in writing.   Refunds will be subject to an administration fee
of £20 plus VAT.  After this date, regrettably, we cannot make refunds on
cancellations.

Special Diets
All catering is organised with options to fulfil the requirements of
vegetarians.  However, we can accommodate most dietary requirements, if
these are indicated to us on booking.

Special Needs
The University of Central Lancashire particularly welcomes delegates with
special needs.   All buildings have wheelchair access and various other
special facilities.   We are happy to clarify these prior to booking.

Quality Assured
At the end of the conference you will be asked to complete an evaluation
form.  To ensure we maintain a high quality of service, we welcome your
comments and suggestions and would ask that you take the time to complete
these details and return them to us.

Data Protection
The information you provide on the booking form will be held on a database
to process the confirmation of your place.  We do not pass your details on
to any companies outside the University group for marketing purposes.
