This workshop is designed for staff charged with developing and releasing
technology-based learning resources for use in their institution. Following
on from last year’s successful event which focused on raising awareness
and collaborative working, this year’s event will focus on the practical
challenges of dealing with some of the current important matters affecting
eLearning.
The day will be informal with plenty of discussion based around three
key themes: accessibility, evaluation, and learning technology standards.
All of these are areas there is currently significant national and institutional
pressure to address, but for the developers who have to actually put them
into action, the way forward is not always clear (or easy!). Participants
are invited to share their tips and solutions, but also to be honest about
ideas that have failed.
This event is aimed solely at the people with a hands on role in the tasks
of developing and project managing the production of digital resources. To
cover costs there will be a small charge of £20 per participant.
Refreshments and lunch are included in the price.
To book a place, please contact the Learning Technologies Group
