1. Introduction
The following instructions apply to using the Eduroam wireless service on Ubuntu 9.10 distributions of GNU/Linux, but may also work on other versions. If not, you may find that the other Ubuntu configuration page suits your version better. If you find an error in the instructions, please contact wireless@oucs.ox.ac.uk. - In the top menu, click on the
networksicon on the right hand side which resembles a Y-shaped antenna or two monitors. - From the drop down menu that appears select
[eduroam]from the list of available networks

Wireless Network Authentication Required, check that the settings match the figure below (if not, change them) and enter your Remote Access account details (not your SSO): your username (append @ox.ac.uk after it) e.g.abcd1234@ox.ac.ukand your remote access account password.Click on the
