If you are using IMAP to connect to your Nexus email account, and you have migrated from Herald, or you have changed email clients, you may need to update your folder subscriptions in order to see all of your email folders. Please see instructions below for some common clients.
Outlook 2007
Right-click on your Nexus account name in the navigation pane on the left of the screen. Choose [IMAP folders...]. Click Query to see a list of folders. In the resulting list, folders you are already subscribed to have a yellow folder symbol next to their name. To subscribe to other folders, highlight each one in turn and click Subscribe. When finished, click OK.
Outlook 2003
Right-click on your Nexus account name in the navigation pane on the left of the screen. Choose [IMAP folders...]. Click Query to see a list of folders. Entourage 2008
Select your Nexus mailbox from the list of folders on the left, to see a list of folders in the main pane. Control-click on the Nexus mailbox name and select [Receive Complete Folder List] to update the list of folders. Folders you are not subscribed to have a grey folder icon next to their names. To subscribe to a folder, Control-click on its name and choose [Subscribe].
Mozilla Thunderbird 2
In the Thunderbird folder list, right-click on your Nexus mailbox (or any folder within it) and choose [Subscribe...]. You will now see a list of all your folders, with tick marks next to the ones you are subscribed to. Tick any other ones you want to subscribe to, and then click OK to finish.
If you have many folders, a quicker way may be to use the [Tools] menu and select [Account Settings].
  1. Select [Server Settings] from the left-hand list
  2. Click the Advanced button
  3. Untick Show only subscribed folders
You may need to quit and restart Thunderbird after this.
Windows Mail
Right-click on the name of your Nexus mailbox, choose [IMAP Folders], (possibly need to click [Reset List] at this point), then click on each folder and click [Show], or slightly quicker, double-click each folder you want to see.
Apple Mail
Control-click on any folder within your Nexus mailbox. Choose [Synchronise "Nexus"] where "Nexus" is the name you gave to your account when you set up Mail to connect to Nexus. You should now see all your folders listed within your Nexus mailbox.
Outlook Express 6
Right-click on your Nexus mailbox and choose [IMAP Folders...]. Click Reset List to update the list of folders. Subscribed folders have a yellow icon next to them. Folders may be automatically subscribed when you update the folder list. To subscribe to a folder, highlight its name and click Show.
Eudora
Right-click on your mailbox name (e.g. Dominant) and choose [Refresh Mailbox List]. This may take a few minutes but you can continue working in the meantime.
