Linked Data and Practical Semantic Web Workshop
OUCS hosted a free day-long workshop on creating and using linked data and practical semantic web applications on Monday, 29 March 2010.
The morning of this workshop was a practical course on Linked Data run by Jeni Tennison who has recently been doing a lot of work with data.gov.uk (see her blog for some of her posts on open government linked data). The workshop section covered an introduction to RDF, creating linked data, querying with SPARQL, and using/visualizing linked data. The afternoon had speakers from University of Oxford projects who are using similar concepts or methods to give papers on their work.
