Rack Cabinet Access Control

The picture below shows the access control system fitted to the racks at the USDC. Each rack has a proximity card reader, electronic lock and sensors to determine if a cabinet door has been opened. The system only allows authorised proximity tokens to access the rack and records when they unlocked the rack, when the door was opened and for how long. This system, combined with the room access control and CCTV, allow the USDC to run 24/7 un-manned.
