The Academic Typesetting Service
The usage level of the OUCS Academic Typesetting Service has decreased steadily over many years. Due to high costs and the lack of maintainability of the equipment providing the service, the service has been terminated. This will enable resources to be re-directed into newer and more popular OUCS services.
Fonts
The Combined Higher Education Software Team (CHEST) has negotiated a site licence for the use of the Monotype Classic Font Library, the Type Designers of the World Library and the Enhanced Screen Quality Fonts. This represents a collection of over 2000 of the worlds best typefaces. These font libraries are available as a CHEST site licence to all UK higher education institutions. We maintain a detailed catalogue of fonts which are available.
