1. Accessing the Linux Service

1. To access the Linux service using Fugu, click on the installed Fugu program icon. The following Connection screen will open:

2. In the Connect to box, type in linux.ox.ac.uk

3. Type your Username into the appropriate box.
4. For the Port number type in 22
5. Click the Connect button.
6. A new screen appears asking you to enter your password. Add to the box and click the Authenticate button.

7. You will now see your Linux account in the right hand panel which contains one cgi folder. You can now transfer files to and from your Linux account using drag and drop between the panels.
