| Title | Letter: To Edmund Blunden. |
| Notes | Letter in pen in Ivor Gurney's hand. Hopes that Edmund Blunden will not mind Gurney sending along his work, which has been rejected by the publishers Sidgwick and Jackson / Asks Blunden, as a 'successful poet', for help. This letter was written after Gurney had taken up his Civil Service appointment on 3 July 1922, before he entered the Barnwood assylum in September. Blunden had published 'The Shepherd' in April 1922. |
