| Notes | Hessian infantryman wearing an M1915 pattern tunic with concealed buttons. His pickelhaube is an M1915 model with spike removed. He wears the special Hessian belt buckle which depicted a crown, and no motto. Photos of Hessian soldiers are scarce. |
