| Title | Bazentin-le-Petit Communal Cemetery |
| Notes | It was around this area that Robert Graves was wounded and reported as dead as his battalion advanced up to High Wood on the 20th July. The 2nd Royal Welsh Fusiliers were positioned on a ridge to the east of Bazentin-le-Petit cemetery. Coming under shell-fire, they fell back and Graves was badly wounded in eight places. Very near these cemeteries was a quarry where a Dressing Station was located in July 1916. Robert Graves was brought after being wounded on the 20th of July on his way up to High Wood. |
