Find My Past
With a subscription you can search databases created from official British publications such "Soldiers Died in the Great War" (published in 1921), and "De Ruvigny's Roll Of Honour" (army deaths from 1914-1915 in particular) and the National Roll of the Great War (biographies of men from certain areas of England). The family of every soldier who died was entitled to receive a memorial scroll from the War Office, and this website offers a reproduction scroll for a fee. You can also search some of these databases for a fee on the Naval and Military Press website http://www.military-genealogy.com/
