Find Army Service Records: Absent Voters in 1918
Page details
Absent Voters in 1918
In 1918 Absent Voters Lists were compiled for all men who were overseas. These are arranged by town, and then street/address. They provide the military details of each man eligible to vote - don't forget not every soldier would have been old enough or would have qualified for the vote. These are usually held in local county record offices, although the The Long Long Trail website lists some which are online, including this one for Accrington.
