| Notes | This photograph of my father was taken in England 1917 having just been commmisioned having served from 1914 on the Somme. I also have in my possession his original commission, and additional photoes of his time serving as camp commandant of an Italian POW camp from 1918 - 1920 The medals are his as is the compass, he was demobbed in 1920 as an acting Major - But would never talk about his experiances ever after. |
