NotesTom and Charlie are William's brothers. Thomas Henry Wenham served as private 40722 with 8th North Staffordshire Regt. He was wounded in the head by a shell at Wytschaete on 9 June 1917. Although he recovered he was no longer fit for front line service. After serving with the Royal Defence Corps in the UK he returned to France in 1918 with a PoW Company of the Labour Corps (by this time his number was 653000).

Charles Wenham served as private 28180 with 10th Lincolnshire Regiment. He died of wounds in hospital in Leicester on 17 November 1917 and was buried in Cleethorpes cemetery.
