Plant/leaf decoration, with Welsh dragon and mortar inscribed motifs. Base reads: 18 PR ('R' superscripted and underscored) II Lot J150 1917 2.9 JM ROC [logo] other inscriptions as per image. Brought home by my grandfather, Sgt., Major Edward Rowlands, of Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, north Wales. Shell height: 294mm, diameter (projectile end)ca. 88mm, firing pin lip end diameter: 102mm |
