| Title | Postcard from Private Frederick Guy |
| Notes | Postcard from Private Frederick Guy of the Sherwood Foresters to his mother in Hull, postmarked 1917. The picture side of the card bears an image of a woman sitting in a chair, with a small photograph of a soldier in the top right-hand corner, and the printed words I am thinking of you. The word all has been added by hand after this. The message on the back reads: 9pm Monday night. Dear Mother, We have just got back. I have not been in camp yet as I came down to the YM in order to let you have a card. I will let you have a letter at my first opportunity. I am quite well and in the best of spirits. Fred. Part of a collection relating to Frederick Guy. |
