The left-hand page of the flyleaf bears a message from Lord Roberts beginning I ask you to put your trust in God. The right-hand page is inscribed: From the Rev. C. Moore [or possibly Moon] Rector of Trusthorpe 1914. and then, in a different hand: To J W[?] Wray 1050 D Coy. Part of a collection relating to Robert Rafton, deposited by his great-niece.|
