NotesHerbert Edward Freestone, born 29th February 1880 at Hadfield, Derbyshire. He was a private soldier in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

Herbert Freestone was invalided out before the end of the war and lived until 1956.

Leather purse containing two enamelled 'Sweetheart' broaches of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, and a Royal Welsh Fusiliers bi-metallic cap badge.
