Royal Welsh Fusiliers, having been discharged as medically unfit for further service, 14th April 1916, joined the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 (there is a discrepancy in the dates given by his paperwork, which suggest 1918) as an Aircraftsman Second Class (service no. 185738), and later served abroad with the Royal Air Force. |
